Do I have to sign a long-term lease?

Nope! At 4H, all of our leases are month-to-month. Rent is prepaid each month on your due date. Early move-outs are not eligible for prorated rent refunds.

How much does self storage cost?

Our rates vary between unit sizes and type of storage. For more information about our pricing, check out our rates page.

Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?

Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials, and perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.

What is the best way to pack a unit?

Larger and more infrequently used items should go in the back of the unit. Remember to keep a walkway in the center of your unit to more easily access items. Always keep items labeled and a list of items stored, even a photo on the outside of each box will allow you to "see" what's inside.

What are some helpful tips for moving into my unit?

Do I need to pay a security deposit?

A $35 security deposit is collected upon move-in, along with your first month's rent. This deposit is refundable, so long as you leave the unit as you found it and return all keys and the lock provided to you.

What is Climate Controlled storage?

Our climate controlled storage units are humidity controlled, heated and cooled, and maintain a temperature between 62 and 78 degrees. This protects your belongings from extreme temperatures and humidity. Items that you would not want to store in a "garage like" environment should be stored in climate control storage.

Am I required to purchase insurance for the things that I store?

It is not mandatory, but we recommend that you carry insurance coverage on your belongings. Check with your insurance agent to determine if you are covered. For your convenience we have brochures for affordable self storage insurance through Safe-Stor Insurance Company. Brochures are available at our main office.

Do I need to give notice when I move out?

You must schedule an appointment to move out of your unit, at least 24 hours in advance. *For refund of your Security Deposit, you will need to have moved out before your next Due Date, take care of any balances due, remove all items in the storage unit, sweep out any debris and return the Lock and Keys we provided you, to our Office.

What kind of documentation do I need to reserve a unit?

We require all of our customers to present a valid government issued form of identification (e.g. Driver's License, State I.D., or Passport).

What are they payment terms?

Rent is due on the anniversary date of your lease (this is the date you moved in). We accept checks, money orders, debit and credit. You may also pay online, where you may set up automatic drafts to a credit/debit card or bank account.

What credit cards are accepted?

We accept MasterCard, VISA and Discover.

Do you provide locks and who keeps the key?

We provide each of our customers with a high security cylinder or disk lock to place on their space. No one will have a key to your unit but you!

What is a standard storage space?

A standard storage space is an outside unit which gives you the ability to simply drive up to your space and unload your belongings directly from your vehicle. These Units are not insulated.

How can I pay my rent?

Online - Go to 4hstorage.com and click 'Pay Bill' to pay with a card or bank draft. You may also set up autopay this way. Drop box - there is secure drop box at the main office, next to the front door. Please do not leave cash in the box, checks and money orders only! By Mail - mail a check or money order to PO Box 803, Walnut Ridge, AR 72476. Keep in mind, ten days late is an added $10 charge! Take this into account when mailing a payment in.
